Verse of the Day

Christian?
Written by Colby Moss
Do you know where you will spend eternity?

If you are unsure of the answer to this question or if you are afraid you will not spend eternity in Heaven, there’s good news for you! Notice the following words of Jesus.

John 3:16-17 For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.

God loves and values you so much that He made a way for you to be saved. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die so that mankind could be redeemed from sin. The Bible says concerning salvation, "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God" (John 3:3).

Salvation does not come by joining a church, following a certain religion, doing good deeds, or living a good moral life. The Bible says there is only one way to receive salvation. You must be born again by accepting Jesus Christ as Your Savior.

Settle the most important question of your life today! Pray the following prayer and receive Jesus as your Savior:

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come to You in the Name of Jesus.

You said in Your Word, "…If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).

I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

I believe He was raised from the dead for my justification.

Your Word says, "…For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved." (Romans 10:10).

I do believe with my heart, and I now confess with my mouth Jesus as my Lord. Therefore, I am saved! Thank You, Lord! If you have prayed this prayer sincerely from your heart, then the Bible says you are now born again!
